Running a homelab in the age of LLMs
I've recently moved house and decided to upgrade my old Zimaboard to something better. The details aren't important, but I made most of the move manually around 8 months ago.
There were still a few leftover services running on that machine (Syncthing, Linkding, this blog). I thought it might take me something around 5 hours to move everything.
In comes Fable 5 with some notes about my homelab. I asked it to migrate and walked away to play with the kids. When I came back, it was done, just a few manual checks left for me.
The LLMs really make running a homelab trivial, and no longer prompts a niggling feeling of "should I be using my limited time for THIS" when troubleshooting some arcane container config.
